40 Light up Rhythm Videos

This is my latest project, 40 Light up Rhythm Videos that can be utilized with your students as they chant, use body percussion, or use any instrument of your choice! I have made small series of videos such as hip-hop ukulele videos, guitar strumming videos, bucket drum videos, but this is my BIGGEST batch yet. Quarter, Eighth, Sixteenth, Advanced Sixteenth, and Rests in every combination imaginable in 4/4 3/4 and 2/4 Time Signature.

This is going to be very useful whether you are in the classroom, or teaching online. These videos light up in time to ensure that students are keeping their place, and staying in time with the music that they hear. These videos work as a visual metronome to help them read along as the rhythms for each video light up in all different colors. The best part, whether you are teaching a lesson on Quarter Notes, Eighth notes, Quarter Rests, Sixteenth Notes, Advanced Sixteenth notes, 4/4 Time Signature, 3/4 Time Signature or 2/4 Time Signature you are guaranteed to have a video in this bundle to help your students master the concept learning in your daily lessons. Each video has rhythms in 11 different combinations, which will give students exposure to everything they could possibly encounter with rhythms in songs or any other activity you will do with them in the future.

Students get at lease 1 bar to prepare as the rhythms change throughout the song. Students will begin to get in the habit of counting 4 bars as they are practicing these rhythms. The tempo is set at 75 BPM which would be the only disadvantage, as these videos do not give students the experience of executing these rhythms at different fast or slow tempos (just being honest). I hoped that these would be utilized as a tool for strictly just mastering the executing rhythms alone at a comfortable pace. If enough of you ask for it, I may perhaps create videos targeting the skill of executing rhythms at different speeds. We’ll see!

  1. I would really like to see this at different speeds. I want to be able to use it at different levels so having different speeds would really be necessary for it to be useful for me. Other than that I love it. I hope you are able to make it different speeds. If you do please let me know.
